Wow, to be a kid again and have a heart totally filled with the excitement of deciding which one first! It’s brings a smile to my face just remembering how that little heart use to work. The challenge now is to keep that excitement and young heart alive.

The Watch Dog

How funny to see this huge dog statue guarding what appears to be an abandoned house. It certainly looks like this watch dog has kept everyone away.

The Shed

I love oddities and textures and this old building has both. With the patched repairs, missing glass panes, and tin overhang above the rustic red door, I assume it continues to serve a purpose. Much like me at this point in my life.

I love white picket fences. The open gate makes me think, “Okay, who left the gate open and where is the dog?”

Mary and the Seahorses

I am so amused with others’ choices. A juxtaposition of religion and fantasy. It does seem to invite the viewer to take a second look. That’s what caught my eye.

The Passage Way

Painted brick always speaks to me. From red to green down a narrow passageway with a mossy brick path and an inviting back yard. Oh, and the white picket fence: what’s not to love.
